Antivirus 2009 Will Try and Trick You
Antivirus 2009 is an infection that poses as a genuine anti-virus program. It will download itself onto your computer and then try to trick you into buying its worthless but expensive "upgraded" version.
The first sign is when you visit a website and a little gray box pops up. It looks like your standard Windows notification box. It usually says something like, "You may be infected, would you like to scan now?" (Or some version of that.)
If you click OK, you'll be directed to the fake software's website, to buy the "upgraded" version.
But here's the kicker: even if you click CANCEL or CLOSE, the "unpaid" version may download itself without your knowledge, and pop up later!
In this case, it's best to just disconnect from the internet, close your browser, then get back on and find some REAL antispyware software to get rid of Antivirus 2009!

Clear your computer of all the same bugs.
