These programs are hideous!  I had an XP antivirus infection once, and I thought I was going to have to scrap my computer!  Well, actually, I thought I was going to have to reinstall Windows, which is almost as bad. 

I had the top-shelf free antivirus programs, so I knew there was something wrong when a program I didn’t recognize told me I was infected.  I’d heard of these kinds of viruses, so I unplugged my network connection, logged into safe mode, and ran my antivirus program. 

It didn’t work.  It didn’t even find it.  But I knew it was there.  I ended up having to send it in to a Technician, which cost me about $200.  If only I had an antivirus program that could handle it then.

My computer got infected with the XP Antivirus 2008 bug one time.  I about tore my hair out trying to get rid of it! 

I thought I was well protected.  I had a highly rated antivirus program, but it couldn’t get rid of XP 2008.  I tried several others until I found one that worked. 

Some time later, a friend of mine got XP 2008.  I thought I could fix it with my program.  As it turned out, it didn’t work this time.  The funniest thing about it was that my old antivirus worked this time! 

This bug is a tricky one!  What we need is one antivirus program that works every time, not just sometimes.
