BBSee and Me
One of my worst experiences with a piece of spyware was with BBSee. No, I take that back. It was definitely my worst experience. I'm not exactly sure when I became infected by BBSee, but I'm glad that I'm not now.
I had an anti-spyware program, but apparently it wasn't good enough. I got infected by BBSee anyway, and soon after was infected with a bunch of other spyware programs. Apparently, BBSee had completely shut down my anti-spyware program. I started getting pop up ads and my computer was working really slowly. Every now and then, I would get strange system error notices. I knew something was wrong, but for some reason I didn't do anything about it.
There was a point when I knew that I needed to get help and get it fast. It was when I checked my e-mail and had a message from a friend of mine. He was asking why I was sending out junk mail. This boggled my mind, so I wrote him back and told him that I didn't know I was. Now I realize that it was because of BBSee.
After doing some research and checking some of my computer's processes, I found that I had been infected with BBSee. I also found that BBSee is a very dangerous piece of spyware capable of stealing passwords and sending out mass e-mails. When I found out that BBSee could also log my keystrokes and could possibly steal my private information, I started searching for a solution.
